While working at BC Materials, I was also in charge of the professional training of teams of contractors on their construction sites. In February 2022, while training a team of young Ukrainian contractors, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Working daily with recycled concrete demolition materials, I felt a strong urge to contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction by repurposing the war’s rubble. I saw a poetic form of resistance in this reuse. This is how my path led me to collaborate with Neo-eco Ukraine, which is developing a circular concrete plant in the Mykolaiv Oblast.

As project manager for Neo-eco Ukraine, I researched and worked on the topic of reconstruction materials for Ukraine and led Workshops for the children of the demolished school of Zeleny Hai, near Mykolaiv. Glory to them.
